Reese is a nonbinary, queer artist based in New York City who graduated from Boston Conservatory in 2023 with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre, Specialization in Tap Dance, and an Emphasis in Musical Theatre Dance. After graduation, Reese signed with Marc and Dustin at Daniel Hoff Agency and went on tour with Funny Girl as a swing and was promoted to Assistant Dance Captain halfway through the tour. After a year on tour, the tap choreographer of Funny Girl Ayodele Casel offered them an opportunity to leave tour and be cast in the ensemble of her original work Diary of A Tap Dancer at Boston’s American Repertory Theatre. After this production and two works at New York City Center, Reese went back on tour with SIX the musical as an Alternate for Aragon, Boleyn, and Cleves. In between gigs Reese finds joy teaching all levels of Tap Dance across multiple states. Reese originally studied Neuroscience before switching to Musical Theatre and brings a knowledge base of science to their master classes in audition technique, acting, singing, and dancing.
